Student Recordings of the Month!

Our students record their work frequently during lesson time. Using GarageBand recording software and three stand-alone mics, we create mp3 listening files that are saved and posted on students’ personal web pages. Only the student and their family have direct access to these recording pages, which include videos and photographs, with privately protected passwords. But students can share their recording page or individual selections with those they choose. These recording web pages give students a personal sound diary of their progress and their achievements at the piano. Starting in 2023, I will post a selection of this work, with student permission, so that we can acknowledge student accomplishment with a broader audience.
