« All Events

November 12, 2016 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

SPECIAL SPECIAL FIELD TRIP TO THE BOSTON AQUARIUM.  Open to all piano students and their families.  WHAT?  WHAT DOES A TRIP TO THE AQUARIUM HAVE TO DO WITH PIANO?  Our special theme this year is WATER MUSIC.  Our special composer of the year is George Friedrich Handel….the composer of an orchestra suite called “Water Music,”   Our major practice incentive project to go with our WATER THEME is practicing to raise money to save the Kemp’s Ridley Turtle that summers along our MA coastline. This turtle  is nearing extinction!.  We will have a PERSONAL tour of the Aquarium to see their KEMPS RIDLEY TURTLE by one of our very own piano alumni Raina D’Orazio, who is now a graduate student in Marine Biology!

Sign up for this event ASAP so I can make arrangements with the Aquarium for a reduced group rate.
