Saturday, March 28th at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, High Street, Newburyport from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. As is our annual tradition and annual collaboration with the Newburyport Chamber Music Society, their visiting professional pianist, Michael Brown, who worked with us last year, is again offering to meet with several of our students in a sharing, masterclass-unmasterclass format, where we all sit around the piano, and Michael listens to our student volunteers perform and gives us all tips on making our pieces as full of expression as possible!  In turn, our students who are not performing will have an opportunity ask Michael questions of their own.  This collaboration has been ongoing for ten years and it is always a memorable for everyone: performing students; students who are watching and our families who are welcomed in the audience at St. Paul's church on High Street, Newburyport.

Saturday evening, March 28th, at 7:00pm at the house of Deirdre Girard and Steven Faria.  This is a rare opportunity for our students to listen to a professional classical pianist perform in an intimate venue....of 50 seats...up close and personal!  For many of our students, this may be there first exposure to a professional pianist.  For many of our students, they make a point to attend this annual event every year.  The effect is immediate and long lasting; many of my students have chosen to tackle a piece they heard by the visiting artist.  And they are often moved to dedicate more practice time to their own work because they are so inspired.  Michael gave our studio the choice of his encore piece!  And this is your time to come and hear Debussy's famous and well-liked Clair de Lune.  Seats go quickly in this small venue, so please plan to order your tickets on the Newburyport Chamber Music website as soon as the concert is listed.
